Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept orders from the UK and Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the US. All products and payments are priced in UK pounds.
We accept card payments via Visa, MasterCard and Switch. When you place an order on the website but credit/debit card or PayPal the money will be debited from your account immediately. Goods will be shipped to you as soon as possible. In the event of a large delay because and item is out of stock we will contact you and advise. This happens rarely. If you order a system from us the full amount will be taken immediately but the system will be shipped in 5-10 days. We will be contacting you during this process to let you know how the build is proceeding.
If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.
When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Please note that we are unfortunately UNABLE TO SHIP GOODS TO A DIFFERENT ADDRESS FROM THAT WHICH YOUR PAYMENT CARD IS REGISTERED TO. This is as a result of the recent increase in credit card fraud, and a restriction that we now make with all online purchases.
As the products we offer are usually valuable, our shipping costs are normally calculated on the basis that a signature will be required upon delivery, and that the shipping cost includes insurance for the full value if the items. This will apply in the majority of cases; if, however, you would like to discuss alternative shipping methods, please contact us. Certain destinations have special requirements and restrictions, and items above a certain value will require additional insurance charges.
Stock items are normally despatched on the same day that the order is received, with a delivery time of 1-2 days in the UK, or 2-5 days for the rest of Europe.
Complete computer systems have a build and test time of 5-10 working days, and will be despatched as soon as complete.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. Back-ordered items are normally despatched within 5-10 working days. You will always be able to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. If you are VAT exempt (e.g. Channel Islands or non-EU countries) please ensure that you click the 'exempt' button on the checkout to zero the VAT. If you are outside the UK, within the EU, but VAT registered, please click the 'exempt' option and ENSURE THAT YOU PROVIDE US WITH YOUR VAT REGISTRATION NUMBER. Otherwise, we will have no option but to charge you the VAT.
Once a transaction is completed all credit card details are erased from our system. Any details provided are only used to process payment for the order placed. Credit card details will need to be provided again for any future orders.
We can only use the details you have provided once. We can alter the value of the transaction but we can only take less than the amount to which you have agreed, we can never increase the amount. In the event that the webshop has charged too little we will need to contact you to obtain extra payment - which of course we can only take if you are happy to do so!
If you buy an item by mail order you can return it within 14 days for a full refund (not including carriage) provided it is returned with all packaging intact and in the condition in which it was sent. Please contact us in advance of sending a product back.
This guarantee does not apply to software or to tutorials.
If an item is returned to us in a different condition to which it was sent we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded for the carriage incurred in sending the item to you or the carriage you incur sending it back to us.
In the case of software we advise you try any available trial versions before you order the software so that you can be sure the software is suitable for your needs and works on your hardware. We cannot refund money for software which has been activated or registered.
In every case please talk to us about your issues as we may be able to help sort them out for you.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
The warranty on hardware will vary depending on the item. If the warranty is not listed on the webpage concerned please contact us and we can provide the information. Most hardware has a 1 year warranty from us at DVC. Some items may have a longer manufacturers warranty.

DVC do not disclose buyers information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.
Item prices may be cheaper upon completion of final invoice. This is due to price drops that occur & are not reflected in the web shop immediately. Final invoices should never be more than price quoted online.
