Matrox Compress HD

Matrox Compress HD

Matrox Compress HD

£340.42 +VAT , £408.50 inc. VAT at 20%

Quantity:

This board adds the same functionality as seen with any of the MAX versions of the MXO2 range of devices.  If you buy a non-MAX MXO2 you can effectively make it into a MAX version by adding a Compress HD to your system.  The MAX versions of MXO2s add two things to Adobe Premiere Pro CS5:

1. Accelerated export of H264 into various formats.
2. Realtime playback of Matrox effects and other "Matrox acceleration" to Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.

If you have a non-MAX MXO2 and add the Compress HD card then you non-MAX MXO2 will behave like a MAX version, adding the above features as well.

You can also add the MAX card to a system using other hardware - like theMatrox RT.X2 or Axio or even a Black Magic card.  This will add the fast encoding into Blu-ray and other h264 formats to these systems. It does not add the range of Matrox realtime effects, although the Matrox RT.X2 or Axio will have them anyway since they come with the same range of effects built-in as the MXO2 range of devices.

Compress HD will work on Mac or PC.
