Graph Editor
The graph editor has been updated with greater functionality and streamlined workflow. The following is a list of these new features: - Multiple curve types in a a back-up of curves. Allows curves to be reset to their footprint position
- The graph editor provides a more global and detailed method for altering the settings governing an item’s animation channels. It single curve

- Multiple curve evaluation and modification of dissimilar items (view and edit any curve in a scene simultaneously)
- Create Favourites sets of curves for simple recall of editing environments
- Interactive proportional scaling of keys using cursor as centre
- Data display over key frame with mouse pointer
- Contextual pop-up menus in graph edit and graph storage windows
- Lock keys so they are un-editable
- Key bins for storing and inserting useful sets of key frames
- Velocity and speed curves in background views
- Copy and paste entire curves quickly
- New Footprints feature for creating has Layout’s entire key frame editing capabilities, plus some others like dragging key frames to different frames, or graphically adjusting key frame attributes. It can be used to fine tune or dramatically change an item’s animation characteristics.
The graph editor is split into four major interface areas: the Curve Bin, the Curve Edit Window, the Curve Controls and the Scene List. Curve Bin Curve Edit Window 
Scene List Curve Controls The Curve Bin is merely a repository to show the user which curves are available for display and editing for the currently selected item. The Curve Edit Window is, as its name implies for editing curves for a given item. The Scene List is used to select the item whose curves you want to edit. The Curve Control area allows you to set the Pre and Post behaviours and modifiers for the selected frame. |
