ROBUSKEY for EDIUS

A new keyer for Grass Valley EDIUS 6 - which can easily make a good key from normal footage. The built-in EDIUS' keyer is good - this one is better. It is also accelerated by the graphic card so with a powerful card you can get decent realtime performance.


EDIUS titling programs

EDIUS comes with Grass Valley's own titler caller QuickTitler which can make either static titles or rolling and crawling titles. There are other options: Vistitle, HeroGlyph and Title Motion Pro. All of these will do animated titles on paths you can specify.

ProDad Plug-ins

Some very good ProDad plug-ins ship with EDIUS 6 - Mercalli 2 and Vitascene. However ProDad also do a large range of transitions called Adorage you can add to EDIUS as well as a titling program, HeroGlyph. The have also recently released V2 or VITASCENE with more filters and controls - and to which you can upgrade for a reasonable price.

Pegasus' inputs include S-Video, YUV and RGB analog and HDMI*, and it can also capture external two-channel analog audio, and up to eight channels of embedded audio via HDMI.

This UK keyboard has a complete set of shortcut keys for Grass Valley EDIUS. EDIUS has a lot of useful shortcuts many of which are not obvious so the colour coded keys are very useful.

Will keyboard be useful with EDIUS 6?

This keyboard was designed for use with EDIUS 5, and nearly all of the shortcuts have remained the same with EDIUS 6. The only keys which have changed are the numeric keys above QWERTY on the keyboard which no longer assign track patching as before.

NB: the picture shows the keyboard with a Jog shuttle pro. The Jog shuttle does not come with the EDIUS keyboard and is available separately
