Matrox Video Capture Cards

Matrox cards not only add extra i/o they can also improve the performance of Premiere Pro. They have two ranges of cards - the MX02 range and the RT.X2 & Axio.   The MX02 are the latest cards and the obvious choice for using with Adobe Premiere Pro Cs5.  The RT.X2 and Axio cards were originally designed for Adobe Premiere Pro CS2 and Matrox have added support for CS3 and CS4 over the years.  CS5 support is expected in October 2010, however, for CS5 the MX02 range will give more options and be cheaper!

Avid Media Composer
 Avid Media Composer is the software used throughout broadcast production - it's even won Oscars. Packed with features and effects and an interface honed by years of intense editing.
Sony Vegas

Sony Vegas has excellent quality effects, true 3D effects, excellent audio support and complex DVD and Blu-ray writing using DVD Architect.

Version 10 adds Stereoscopic 3D editing and has the best support currently built into any editing program, as well as other enhancements.

Cineform
 The Cineform codec is for use when you need to change your highly compressed footage, AVCHD, HDV, AVCHD etc, into something more usable. You can just buy the codec, called NeoScene, or with an application which improves comnversion time called Neo HD or with Premiere Pro plug-in, called Prospect HD
AJA Cards
 AJA make a range of I/o cards with plug-ins for Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Combustion and Fusion, and which also give output to Sony Vegas.
Black Magic capture cards

Black Magic produce a range of low cost I/o cards which work with Adobe Premiere, Sony Vegas and Apple Final Cut Pro. They include the cheapest HD-SDI card and a card with every type of input and output you would need.

In this section we include the obvious program for stills work, Adobe Photoshop, as well as the full range of Adobe image programs.
